Non-Institutional Carbon Sequestration

Our Mission

As Carbon Sequestration and CDR are making headlines around the world, the focus has been on large, time consuming Carbon Capture projects, that cost Billions, and should eventually provide results.

sequestAIR has taken a different approach and has focused on residential emissions and a unique Carbon Sequestration process that can be implemented at large scale with little time required for implementation, and at very little cost.

Technology and our approach

As of February 2026, the USPTO (as part of the U.S. Climate Change Mitigation Pilot program) has now granted patent (US 12,551,845 B2) to sequesAIR

In addition we have also just been provided Issue of Notification from CIPO (as part of the Canadian Green Technologies Program)

Our technology, developed in Canada, is just one of many solutions that will help reduce the CO2 emissions of residential emissions

 Why residential emissions?

According to the Canadian Government "Home residences account for 13% of Canada's national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, primarily due to the combustion of fossil fuels for space and water heating, as well as electricity use for cooling, lighting, and appliances. This highlights the significant impact of residential energy consumption on overall CO2 emissions." - source www.canada.ca

What makes us unique

Our proprietary method to utilize ERW (Enhanced Rock Weathering) has resulted in a unique approach to reducing Residential Emissions

          sequestAIR utilizes:

  • point of emissions rather than ambient air
  • large surface area for sequestration
  • use of both water vapor from emissions, and atmospheric moisture to accelerate mineral carbonation
  • permanent sequestration of carbon
  • proprietary mix of silicates with the primary component of Olivine
